Ik ben een gepassioneerde fotograaf met een diepgaande interesse in het creëren van magische en fantasievolle beelden door middel van mijn fotografie. Mijn werk combineert de schoonheid van individuen en voorwerpen met betoverende, denkbeeldige omgevingen om verhalen te vertellen die de verbeelding prikkelen. Mijn doel is om beelden te creëren die mensen meenemen naar andere werelden en hen te laten dromen.
Als fotograaf ben ik voortdurend op zoek naar nieuwe manieren om verhalen te vertellen en emoties vast te leggen door middel van mijn foto’s.
I am a passionate photographer with a deep interest in creating magical and imaginative images through my photography. My work combines the beauty of individuals and objects with enchanting, imaginary environments to tell stories that ignite the imagination. My goal is to create images that take people to other worlds and let them dream.

Over mij
Mijn naam is Gaby Hendriksz. Sinds 2003 ben ik gevestigd in Lelystad, na eerdere jaren in Baarn en het Gooi. Hoewel de verhuizing naar Flevoland een grote verandering was, bleek het uitgestrekte landschap met water en open vergezichten al snel een blijvende bron van inspiratie.
Ik volgde opleidingen bij de Vrije Universiteit van Flevoland en nam deel aan diverse workshops, waaronder bij Frank Doorhof, waar ik mijn gebruik van studiolicht verder verfijnde. Vanuit deze basis ontwikkelde zich een focus op stillevens, gedreven door een fascinatie voor detail, textuur en het subtiele spel van licht.
Een latere masterclass fine art fotografie bij Kaat Stieber markeerde een verschuiving naar het werken met modellen, die ik nu plaats in zorgvuldig opgebouwde, fantasierijke werelden.
Met mijn werk nodig ik de kijker uit om even stil te staan, te reflecteren en zich mee te laten voeren in een verstilde, suggestieve beeldtaal.
About me
My name is Gaby Hendriksz. I have been based in Lelystad since 2003, following earlier years in Baarn and the Gooi. While the move to Flevoland marked a significant change, its expansive landscapes, water, and open horizons soon became a lasting source of inspiration.
I pursued formal training at Flevoland Free University and continued with a range of workshops, including with Frank Doorhof, where I refined my use of studio lighting. This foundation led to a focus on still life, driven by a fascination with detail, texture, and the subtle interplay of light.
A later masterclass in fine art photography with Kaat Stieber marked a shift toward working with models, now placed within carefully constructed, imaginative worlds.
My work invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and be drawn into a quiet, evocative visual narrative.
